Simple Ads is a Shopify app that connects to your Facebook account and Meta ad account to create and manage Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns on your behalf, using AI to help write ad copy and pick audiences.

Using Simple Ads requires an active paid subscription — Basic or Pro. There is no free-to-use tier; a plan must be selected during setup before the app can launch or manage campaigns. Both plans include a 7-day free trial. Charges are billed through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice; you can view, change or cancel your subscription anytime from Shopify's own billing page (linked from Settings → Plan & Billing in the app).

Basic's advertised introductory rate applies for a limited number of billing cycles from the date you subscribe, after which the standard monthly price applies automatically.

Connecting Facebook grants Simple Ads permission to manage ads, Pages and your pixel on your behalf, scoped to what's needed to build and report on the campaigns you launch through the app. You can disconnect Facebook at any time from Settings.

When you uninstall Simple Ads, we:

• Delete every campaign the app created — both on Meta (your Facebook ad account) and in our own records — so no campaign, spend, or delivery history from a prior install carries over. Any advertising benefit of those campaigns is only available to you while you are an active user of the app.
• Revoke the app's access to your Facebook account (not just forget our copy of the token), so Simple Ads no longer appears under your Facebook Business Integrations / "Apps and websites" list.
• Reset your onboarding status, so reinstalling starts you through setup again rather than assuming anything from before.

Your store's account record and billing history are retained for a short period after uninstall in case you reinstall, and are fully erased on Shopify's mandated data-redaction schedule (typically 48 hours after uninstall) unless we're legally required to keep something longer.

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continuing to use Simple Ads after an update means you accept the current version.
